Dry Donut Ingredients

Wet Donut Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 14 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 12 cup brewed coffee, chilled
  • 14 cup coconut oil, melted

Mocha Glaze

Garnish (to taste)

  • caramel syrup
  • chocolate sprinkles


  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the dry donut ingredients until smooth, then set aside. In a separate bowl, mix the wet donut ingredients together until combined. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and mix until combined.
  3. Spoon donut mixture into a greased donut pan. Spread evenly and wipe away excess to prevent burning.
  4. Bake for 14 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Leave the donuts in the pan for 1 – 2 minutes, to cool slightly, before transferring them to a baking rack.
  5. For the glaze: Whisk together the brewed coffee, protein powder, and cocoa. Set aside for a few minutes to allow the mixture to thicken slightly, about 3 – 5 minutes.
  6. To finish: Dip the donuts in the glaze and spin. Let any excess drip back into the glaze, then transfer to a parchment-lined tray, and top with sprinkles. Finish with a drizzle of caramel syrup & dive in.
